About

jjasef is the identity I've used across the web's social spectrum. It has been my username since high school because I'm identified either by my first name Jasef [pronounced "Jah-Sehf"] growing up and then JJ [short for my full name Jasef Jaicee] from high school and out. Since high school, I got into photography and I named that jC Photography just by using my initials. Since then, I've learned graphic design as well since both go hand in hand and now wanted to identify myself with it.

So here comes jjasef represented by the logo I created [originally for my girlfriend and I.. hehe. It's our initials reversed: J.C and C.J but now use it for my graphic design pieces since it represents my full name initials: J.J.C.C].

Ever since learning graphic design, I've used cards as my main outlet and once I started, I barely buy greeting cards. I've used greeting cards as a quick way to practice graphic design, layout, composition, use of typography, and all of that into a piece of folded paper.

And while I'm not a one-man Hallmark company, I take joy [and pride] in the pieces I've made because of its uniqueness and somewhere down the road I'd like to make it available to the public. And if anyone is already interested, email me and we can work on custom cards for any event.

Because these are hand made with the easiest designs requiring one fold, the more complicated designs require additional cutting and folds making these limited in production. Meaning, while I like making cards, if I know a certain design will take longer than usual, we will discuss further to have a price quote.

Feel free to email me your address and I will mail you a sample card I've done in the past. Refer to Contact page to get a hold of me.
